.. not in the playground of the broken hearts but here in my home office/studio/man cave or whatever else you want to call it and I’m back for good! Now I know you are all going to say; “He said that last time!” – “He always says that!” or in the wise words of Fish on Garden Party, “Oh God Not Again!” Fear not dear follower this time is for real and that will be the last of the Marillion quotes (I promise).
The reason I am back is twofold; one, that I have retired and have a lot more time on my hands and two, that I need to sell some bloody paintings to subsidise my meagre pension (or so my wife tells me)! She also tells me I could drink less wine and stop going to the pub so much. In my defence it IS next door and Progdog drags me in cos they give her treats!
I’m currently working on my top 15 Prog albums of 2025 which will be published at the end of December. It’s not been too bad a year for Prog and I think I have them in some semblance of order, barring any last minute releases!
